Summary

Sonora is a personal desktop application that runs entirely on the user's own computer. It has no servers and collects no data.

Data we collect

None. Sonora does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There is no analytics, no tracking, and no account system of our own.

Data stored on your device

• Songs, videos, and project files you create are stored in your local Music folder.
• OAuth tokens for YouTube and TikTok (issued after you authorize the app in your browser) are stored only on your device, in your user Library folder with restricted permissions. They can be revoked at any time from your Google or TikTok account settings.

Third-party services

When you explicitly press "Upload", the app sends the selected video, its caption/metadata, and your privacy choice to YouTube (Google) or TikTok using their official APIs, under their own privacy policies. Basic profile information (display name) received from these services is shown inside the app only, to confirm which account is connected, and is not stored or shared.

Children

Sonora is not directed at children and does not knowingly process any data from children.
